The Young Choral Academy (YCA) was formed by the founders, Susanna Saw (Music Director) and Mr. Chow Wei Heng in January 2007 to further develop and strengthen the choral and music activities in Malaysia. The Young Choral Academy (YCA) is an umbrella of the country’s first academy for choral music. It aims to organise more exchange programmes with other international choirs and to provide a training platform for choral enthusiasts, as well as to encourage the formation and management of choral and other performing groups. To date, the Young Choral Academy offers individual music lessons and houses the fun-loving and dynamic duo, The KL Children's Choir and The Young KL Singers.
